About Us

My name’s Richard Blackmore and I’ve been lucky enough to have worked in the marine industry for the past 15 years, encompassing every aspect from boat lifting and repairs to mooring rental and tuition.

However, it’s in used boat sales where I have worked for the majority of my career, and continue to run an extremely successful yacht brokerage department at Highway Marine.

My reason for setting up Boat£Price.co.uk is simple. For as long as I can remember (and no doubt before that) people have been thrown into confusion trying to figure out how much a boat is actually worth, whether by optimistic vendors, enthusiastic brokers (ahem), online auction sites or lack of available information. However all that is about to change…

Boat£Price.co.uk is a free online service providing you with the up-to-date actual sale prices of all boats sold within the UK as well as loads of other useful information.

The information provided is a fantastic guide to use when purchasing a boat. It is also a great way to accurately value your own boat either to sell or for insurances purposes (or just out of pure curiosity!).

We will also be gathering documentation relating to the VAT status, ownership, RCD and CE Certification on these boats which will be available free of charge on request. This will finally enable you to buy or sell in complete confidence that the boat complies with the neccessary criteria.
